Nishan-e-Haider ,Wafa Ka Mausam and most Popular Marina's Kitchen
Marina's first TV appearance was in a special play on Nishan-e-Haider "Rashid Minhas". It was a very
short role to remember. And then she got a chance in Tanhaiyan (by Haseena Moin) to prove herself as a
good performer. Proven or not, but she became popular. After Tanhayian she did Dhoop Kinare
(Haseena Moin) and really impressed audience.Marina Khan's mother is from Germany, and her father is a retired aircommodore. Marina got
married to a computer engineer Akthar Ali, and now she is Marina Akthar.
Marina can speak Urdu but can not read it. So it becomes difficult to read script for dramas which
are written in Urdu.
